facing cancer. We hope to help you deal with your questions and emotions through the

Kennedy High School Rocks!
CancerReallySucks along with Gems of Hope wants to thank the Kennedy High School student
government for all of their support in 2009 and 2010. In January of '09 at the "Pink Out"
basketball game proceeds from the sales of "pink" t-shirts were split between the American
Cancer Society and Gems of Hope.
Kennedy students participate in monthly workshops to help create gifts for cancer
patients. Cougars ROCK!

Sydney, 19

Though cancer has its negative effects, in the long run it has been a blessing in regards to the way I live my daily life. I know that each day is a gift to be celebrated and I thank God for opening my eyes to all that is beautiful and good in this world.
