facing cancer. We hope to help you deal with your questions and emotions through the
healthy and effective coping strategies found in our How to Deal section. Teens are also able

THANK YOU TENNIS TEAMS
Xavier and Jefferson's girls tennis teams joined together to raise Breast cancer awareness
at their tennis meet on Sat. April 17, 2010. Both teams sold pink shirts and raised money
to donate to Gems of Hope. THANKS TO THE J-HAWKS AND SAINTS for their help in bringing
hope to area cancer patients.

This year Kennedy student government students participate in monthly workshops to help
create gifts for cancer

My uncle was diagnosed with multiple myeloma three years ago. My mom spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to Chicago, where my uncle lives. I felt guilty wishing she were at home with me when my uncle needed her more.
