what do i do? i love my dad. Post By: kristin

Message: my dad has melanoma and the tumor is
seriously affecting his health. They cant
remove it surgically because it is too big
and now it has attached to the vena
cava, a major blood vessel, we were
just told that if the radiation doesnt bring
the size of the tumor down he could only
have a few months. And they also said
that radiation could cause heart failure
because its right near the heart. so
either way we could lose him. i dont
know what to do. im the oldest of 4 girls
and im only 20, and i just lost my
grandma from emphysema in may, she
was only 66. my dad is only 48. i dont
know what to do! pease help.

Though cancer has its negative effects, in the long run it has been a blessing in regards to the way I live my daily life. I know that each day is a gift to be celebrated and I thank God for opening my eyes to all that is beautiful and good in this world.
