A while back I saw a bump on my left
fore arm and I thought it was a pimple
so I scratched at it and it either left a
scar or is not going away. It doesn't look
like a pimple anymore, more like a
mole. It itches a little and hurts to
scratch at. I read in a magazine that it
looks like a type of cancer that is slightly
pink and small. It does not look too odd
I guess. It is a raised piece of skin
slightly pinker and darker than the rest.
Has anyone experienced this or have
any advice as to what it may be. My dad
does not want me to go to the doctor
because he thinks it is not serious
enough and does not want to pay the co-
pay etc. Thanks! |

Kendall, 18
My uncle was diagnosed with multiple myeloma three years ago. My mom spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to Chicago, where my uncle lives. I felt guilty wishing she were at home with me when my uncle needed her more.
